The GS Yuasa Dry Charge AGM GT4B-5 motorcycle battery does not arrive charged. It does however come with an easy to use bottle of acid that can be used to fill the battery before the customer charges and then permanently seals. Most all GS batteries come with a 12 Mo. free replacement warranty.
All GT4B-5 GS aftermarket power sport batteries are made in Japan, Taiwan or the United States of America in a Yuasa Battery Inc. facility. Yuasa is the world's largest producer of small engine batteries for motorcycle, ATV's, lawn tractors, snowmobiles, scooters and personal watercraft. The GT4B-5 battery by GS Yuasa is 12V and has cold cranking amps of 20 and an amp hour rating of 2.3. For those that prefer activating and sealing their battery on their own, you would want to purchase a Dry Charge AGM version designated by the "-BS" following the part number. This type of battery, also known as bottle stock, will come with an easy to use, generally spill-free bottle of acid.
